Create Ads
Once you have content created, you can run ads on your chosen platform. Media advertising strategies are constantly evolving, so it’s important that we are constantly learning.
General tips for ads:
- Ads are worth doing, so budget for them.
- The more you advertise, the more you will learn. Give yourself time.
- Google your questions to see how to run ads on your chosen platform for the most updated best practices
- Every ad must have a goal or call to action (CTA), such as going to your website for more info or messaging you to learn more. Know what you want people to do with your content so you can measure whether it happened or not.
- Running successful ads is a constant cycle:
- Create: Produce content and share it on social media OR create content for ads.
- Promote: Promote content that has shown to do the best organically (without ads) OR post ads directly.
- Learn: Evaluate how ads are performing in the context of your goals and target audience.
- Apply Changes: Based off what you learned, apply changes such as changing themes of the content, changing location, and changing the media type of the content.
- Repeat
Take some time to brainstorm and research questions you have about ads and online marketing.
